Transcendental Meditation Talk Thursday, 11AM to Noon

This Thursday from 11 AM-Noon in 52-E27, the Religious Studies program is hosting a talk titled "Transcendental Meditation Today."

Transcendental Meditation has its roots in ancient India and introduced to the modern world by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the 1950s. This talk will introduce TM and demonstrate its continued relevance to the modern world. Our speaker, Tulsi Bagnoli, has been practicing TM since the age of four and received a M.A. in Vedic Science from Maharishi University of Management in 2009. She currently teaches TM in San Luis Obispo, is a regular columnist for Caribbean BODY & SOUL magazine, and acts as an Ombassador of Yogitunes.com, music streaming for the yogic lifestyle.

The talk is free and open to the public.
