Professor Patrick Lin had an article posted in Forbes on October 15, 2018. Patrick Lin is the director of the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group which is based at California Polytechnic State University, SLO. 

Dr. Lin’s article, "Would 'Deviant' Sex Robots Violate Asimov's Law of Robotics?" details the multifaceted ethical concerns within the “do no harm” command as applied to AI and robotics. Lin considers the contradictions that would arise with programming robots to inflict pain for long term benefits, especially in medical and caretaking fields.
